Monsters in the Sands
Inside you will learn about the major factors that make life dangerous amongst the Sands!

Sand Worms, Sand Mantas and other horrible beast live just under the ashy sands around Gul'.
Jewe
Diminutive goblinkin, the Jewe scour the sands of the desert scavenging and reselling everything they come across. Jewe are biological masters of the sands. They make use of organic weapons specially grown and cultivated in processes known only to themselves. They posses organic cannons, smaller hand guns (Puffs as they are known to other patients), and they have mastered the arts of creating Cacti golems and many other organic monstrosities.
The Jewe make use of huge Sand Snails to transport and store their cargos, as well as providing complete living quarters to them. Specially grown and nurtured by the Jewe, no rogue or roaming Leviathan have ever been seen. The "Leviathan's" shell is hollowed out and shaped and built upon forming a living, moving fortress unmatched by most beasts of the sands.
When traveling in groups the Jewe do so in single file so as to hide their exact numbers.
Thri-Kreen
Where as the Jewe are the scavangers of the Sands, the Thri-Kreen are the killers, the scourge of the Black Sands. These black shelled Mantis Men move with an eerie silence as they move in overwhelming numbers to overcome any living thing in their path. Like sentient locusts the Thri-Kreen strip down everything they encounter. Plants, humanoids, nothing is wasted, even ancient and infirm members of their own race! All are recycled in the great cyrcle of life.
The Thri-Kreen live in great hives, dug deep beneath the sands. They erupt through random holes in the ground in massive hunting packs. The packs communicate via high pitched clicks and whistles that can often be heard for miles when the right conditions exist.
